Yumi Ikegami (池上 ユミ Ikegami Yumi) is one of the main characters of Gingitsune series. She is one of Makoto Saeki's classmates and the girlfriend of Shōhei Amamoto.

Personality

Yumi is laid-back but stubborn and also at odds with Hiwako Funabashi's personality.

Etymology

• The name Yumi is written in katakana (ユミ), which has no special meaning. However, when written in kanji (弓, 由美, 友美 or 弓美), it could possibly mean:
  • 弓 - "archery bow".
  • 由美 - "reason, case, cause" (由) (yu) and "beautiful" (美) (mi).
